The 5 Places To Visit In Amsterdam
It's that time of the year when you are getting ready to plan a family vacation to Europe. Perhaps you are visiting one country or maybe even taking a little more time and visiting multiple. Whatever your choices are make sure Amsterdam is one of them. I spend about a week in this amazing city and I'd like to share with you
1. The Van Gogh Museum
The first place you won't want to miss is the Van Gogh museum. You will be able to see some of his greatest pieces and learn about his life. It's a must-see if you are an art lover or just a fan of Van Gogh's work.
2. The Rijksmuseum
The Rijksmuseum is another great place to visit. This museum will allow you to learn more about the history of Amsterdam and the Netherlands. It is a very nice place with plenty to see and do.
3. The Anne Frank House
The Anne Frank House is another must-see while visiting Amsterdam. This is where Anne Frank hid out during the Nazi occupation during World War II. It was in this house that she wrote her now-famous diary which many people read over and over again.
The last two places I suggest visiting are the Heineken Experience and the Red Light District.
4. The Heineken Experience
The Heineken Experience is a brewery tour where you get to learn all about how beer is made and get to taste it as well! Don't worry, they won't make you drink too much :)
5. 🚨 The Red Light District
The Red Light District isn't exactly a nice place but it definitely worth seeing for yourself. It's filled with sex shops, strip clubs, live sex shows and more! If you are interested in any of these things then this would be your destination for sure!
There are many other things that can be done while visiting Amsterdam but these five places should definitely be included in your itinerary!
